As the social enterprise community builds momentum, the value of shared insights and expertise is also growing. Entertaining, informative and fun, 'Social Enterprise Dragons' has become a valued gathering of the social enterprise community, its friends and supporters. Social Enterprise Dragons is both an opportunity to learn about local success and strength in social enterprise, while being an annual gathering of celebration and networking. Modeled after CBC's The Dragons' Den, Social Enterprise Dragons is a venue for emerging social enterprises to present a key business challenge - and pitch for sponsor expertise and prize packages.
Sponsors of the Social Enterprise Dragons also had a unique opportunity to reach upcoming and existing leaders of Vancouver's values-based businesses.
New for 2012, Social Enterprise Dragons anchored a Day of Learning, during which Enterprising Non-Profits and a group of valued social enterprise advisors shared ideas and lessons to increase social entrepreneurs' impact in their communities.
